Our Mission

The Berkeley Society of Engineers, Scientists, and Entrepreneurs (SESE) organizes events such as the Career Fair, Research Seminar, and Investment Summit, creating opportunities for students to connect deeply with industry leaders, Nobel laureates, and academic pioneers. SESE's mission is to channel technological talent into both industry and academia while providing engineers with abundant academic resources, career opportunities, and support for advanced development.

2024 SESE Career Fair

Each year, SESE partners with leading international technology, finance, and retail companies to host large-scale Career Fairs for Berkeley students.

At our most recent fair in March 2025, we collaborated with TikTok, NIO, miHoYo, PwC, and other industry leaders, alongside Berkeley student organizations, to connect over 1,000 students with recruiters and HR representatives.

Recognizing the unique needs of Berkeley's large international student population, we prioritize inviting companies that offer H1B sponsorship. This ensures that both international and domestic students have expanded access to U.S. job opportunities and meaningful career pathways.
